U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has cut off ALL
funding to the Sinaloa Cartel, a massive criminal organization responsible for
trafficking people and drugs into the United States:
"The Sinaloa Cartel has invaded our southern border.
They have tortured and murdered countless citizens, dedicated law enforcement
officers like Kiki Camarena, and veterans like Nicholas Quetz, who was just 31
years old when he was mercilessly taken from us."
"I am proud to announce that we have taken decisive
action against the Sinaloa Cartel, one of the most notoriously violent criminal
and drug trafficking organizations in the world."
"Our administration is committed to cutting off its
funding and neutralizing the threat using every tool available. We imposed
sanctions against six individuals and seven entities involved in a money
laundering operation, thereby cutting off funding to these evil
individuals."
