Trump Denounces Maneuvers to Evade US Tariffs

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump again questioned the trade practices of other countries and shared a graphic on social media that, according to his administration, outlines various methods used to circumvent US tariffs.

In the post, Trump pointed to mechanisms such as the manufacture of counterfeit products that imitate US goods, restrictions on the import of US food products, and the use of new labels or stickers to alter the declared origin of products and avoid paying taxes.

The president maintains that these practices represent an attempt to evade the trade measures implemented by Washington and harm US companies and producers.

This denunciation comes amid Trump's tariff policy, which seeks to pressure trading partners to modify practices that the White House considers unfair and to strengthen domestic production.
