Israel will maintain its military presence in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza indefinitely, says Defense Minister

Israeli Defense Minister announced that the Israeli Defense Forces will remain deployed in various locations in Lebanon, Syria, and the Gaza Strip indefinitely, asserting that the troops' continued presence is due to strategic and national security needs. The official indicated that there is currently no established timeline for withdrawing military personnel from these areas.

According to the minister, the continuation of operations and the military deployment will depend on the evolution of the threats that, according to the Israeli government, persist on the country's northern and southern fronts. In this regard, he stated that the troops will remain in these areas "until further notice," leaving open the possibility of extending the military presence as long as the authorities deem security conditions warrant it.

These statements come amid heightened regional tensions, marked by clashes on several fronts and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. The decision to maintain forces deployed in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza reflects Israel's strategy of sustaining an active military presence in areas it considers key to preventing further attacks and responding to potential threats against its territory.
