Efforts by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)
and other Democrats to impeach President Donald Trump for his attack on Iran
hit a wall on Monday when a key Democratic senator declared the plan "dead
from the start."
Senator John Fetterman (D-PA), who supported Trump's bold
decision to strike Iranian nuclear targets on Sunday, dismissed rumors that
Democrats would pressure Republicans to initiate a new impeachment process.
This far-fetched attempt gained momentum after Democratic
leaders accused President Trump of violating the Constitution by starting a
"war" without congressional approval.
"Absolutely not [he shouldn't be impeached],"
Fetterman told Fox News.
