Argentina: A box of Nazi artifacts found in the basement of the Supreme Court has been moved to a protected area

ARGENTINA – A federal judge ordered the transfer of a box of Nazi artifacts found in the basement of Argentina's Supreme Court to a protected area and the transfer of the case to the Supreme Court.

The box, containing passports, maps, envelopes, pamphlets, and notebooks belonging to Nazi Party members, is said to have entered the country through the German Embassy in Tokyo on a Japanese ship in 1941.

Argentine authorities have revealed documents on high-ranking Nazis who fled to Argentina: more than 1,850 files have been made public on the government website.

Among them are Josef Mengele, Adolf Eichmann, Edward Roschmann, and Gestapo officer Walter Kuchmann.

The documents include personnel files, press clippings about arrests or investigations, certificates, and telegrams. /The JusticeLeague
