A security operation was activated during a public event led
by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton after authorities detected a suspicious
vehicle in the vicinity. According to initial reports, the vehicle had no
license plates and contained various rounds of ammunition.
Security personnel stopped the car and ordered an individual
inside to exit. The man was reportedly wearing a bulletproof vest when removed
from the vehicle. He was subsequently taken into custody for questioning to
determine his intentions.
Preliminary reports indicate the suspect is from Oklahoma,
although authorities have not officially confirmed his identity or specified
whether he faces formal charges. It is also unclear whether the discovery poses
a direct threat to the Attorney General or to those attending the event.
The incident caused tense moments among those present, but
the event continued under tight security. Investigations are ongoing to
determine the origin of the ammunition, why the vehicle lacked license plates,
and whether there was any specific risk related to political activity.
