Claims about discarded ballots in 2020 reignite debate on election integrity

A story continues to circulate on social media alleging the discovery of discarded ballots in a trash container near a polling place, identified as a church in Santa Ana. According to this account, the ballots were already marked and, according to the person sharing the video, corresponded exclusively to votes for then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The account describes how, upon inspecting the contents of the container, multiple ballots with the same voter preference were found, leading the person who recorded the video to publicly denounce a possible irregularity. It is also claimed that similar situations could be occurring elsewhere, even mentioning the state of Oklahoma as an example.

During and after the 2020 US elections, numerous claims of voter fraud circulated widely, without being investigated by election authorities, fact-checking organizations, or courts. However, as time passes, evidence is emerging of widespread fraud that altered the election results that year.

Some experts maintain that the evidence is sufficient on its own. Furthermore, the cases still need to be documented, and the current situation, in which Democrats have little room to maneuver to conceal what happened in the 2020 presidential election, is being exploited.
