Federal Court Upholds 80-Year Sentence for Founder of Extremist Network “764”

A federal judge appointed during Donald Trump’s presidency rejected the appeal filed by Bradley Cadenhead, identified as the founder of the extremist online network known as “764.” With this decision, the court upheld the 80-year prison sentence previously imposed in the state of Texas.

According to court records and reports from the Daily Caller News Foundation, the defense sought to overturn or reduce the sentence, arguing alleged legal irregularities. However, after reviewing the arguments, the court determined that there were insufficient grounds to modify the original ruling.

The “764” network had been singled out for promoting content and activities linked to extremist ideologies through digital platforms, leading to a federal investigation and a high-profile trial. Authorities maintained that the evidence presented during the trial supported the severity of the sentence.

With the appeal denied, the case remains at its current stage, upholding Cadenhead's conviction. The ruling underscores the judicial system's stance against crimes related to the promotion and organization of extremist activities in digital environments.
