President Donald Trump recently highlighted the performance
of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), asserting that the agency has
achieved "unprecedented" results in the fight against various forms
of crime in the United States. In a post published last month on his Truth
Social platform, the president praised the work of federal agents and stated
that their efforts are transforming public safety across the country.
According to Trump, since January 20, FBI operations have
resulted in a far-reaching offensive that includes thousands of arrests and the
dismantling of criminal networks. The president claimed that, during this
period, federal authorities have arrested more than 28,000 suspected violent
criminals, a figure he described as a "historic record."
In his message, he also highlighted the seizure of more than
6,000 illegal firearms, the capture of 1,700 suspected sex offenders, and the
arrest of 300 people accused of human trafficking. Trump further stated that
5,000 minors were rescued and 2,000 criminal organizations were dismantled in
various states.
Another point he emphasized was the seizure of 1,900
kilograms of fentanyl, a quantity he said would be enough to kill more than 125
million people. He described these results as part of a national strategy that,
in his view, is marking a turning point in the fight against organized crime.
In his post, Trump urged the FBI to maintain the pace of its
operations and continue “cleaning up America’s streets.”
